The Apollo Fardarter Gradechecker

The Apollo spreadsheet will be updated on a regular basis to record the progress of our hypothetical student who never gets sick, never misses a quiz question, and never experiences any spelling uncertainties. Because of his supreme self-confidence, this student doesn't bother with any extra credit assignments, so any "boost" points you earn are, indeed, extra credit.

For an "A" in the class you would aim at no more than 200 points behind Apollo's total at the end of the semester. For a "B," aim at no more than 400 points behind Apollo. For a "C," no more than 600 points, and for a "D," no more than 800 points behind Apollo's total score. If you have fallen behind Apollo by more than 800 points at the end of the semester, you will fail the class (that's less than 60% of the total 2000 points available, as described on your syllabus).

To predict how you'll need to do in order to earn your desired grade, you can input information for future weeks and use the spreadsheet as an oracle.

Please note: Everyone has a score at least 50% below the possible total for week one. So don't get concerned when you see that. I factored Apollo's 40-point leadership/citizenship requirement into his first week's total, as you can see if you look at his "citizenship" line. Your score will bump itself back up as soon as your citizenship requirement is fulfilled (for those of you who acted in the Hephaistos play, that was in Week Two; for others, somewhat later).

If you have not yet completed your citizenship requirement, or if you've still got fewer than 40 points in citizenship, you've got additional points out there that you can make up in order to narrow any numerical gap between your score and Apollo's.

I have updated Apollo's scores through the end of Week 10 (October 28).
